I'm a teenage artist. Very shy, but I do have talent,
and sure as hell know when i see good quality art.
I don't mean to hurt your feelings, really. Just being honest.

And sculpts.
And paints.
Basically, I've tried a lot of different mediums, so I know what I'm talking about when I critique your work.
I do NOT own my thumbnail photo or ID, and obviously not the Webcam GIF. Uploading one of my own works would give away my identity and would defeat the purpose of this profile.
And whether you're a 50 year old professional, or a 12 year old with no artistic talent what so ever, I WILL critique your work. I don't care. I'm kind of tired of people uploading shitty work up here. Sure, sometimes it's a matter of opinion whether or not something is "good", but sometimes it's just common sense.

Photography -- despite what most people think -- is a very difficult medium to work with.
You need creative ideas, followed by some knowledge of general composition.
Then why do so many people just simply point and shoot, without any regard for what it looks like?
And then they upload it without the post production work that it needs...
And they claim it's "a great photo".
In reality, those photos aren't good at all, not even decent.
They lack creativity and visual appeal.
They make professional photographers look like jokes.
What I hate most is when they request critiques.
After you critique them, they make excuses.

Since when has criticism turned into bullying?
It's frustrating.
When you upload to Deviantart and enable comments, you are subjecting your work to the thoughts and honest comments of other artists. Understand that.
And yet, some people think when a person shares their knowledge about a certain form of art and tries to help the artist become better at what they do, it counts as bullying.
NO. That is not what it is.
It is criticism, learn to take it or do not upload onto here.
Bullying is negative comments aimed at a PERSON to push them and push them until they break. The bully then is satisfied, but might push them a bit more just for f
